Our Team

Tom Holmes, CHT

As the Owner and President of Holmes Healthcare Incorporated, I wanted to give anyone who explores this web site a little back ground information on myself.

First, I would like to say that I feel that the people who work for me, out there every day, giving their hearts and hands to the patients and hospitals we serve, are unquestionably the most important.

However, people sometimes want to know a little about the individuals who are principally involved with a company. In the spirit of satisfying that curiosity, here is part of my story.

I started working in the commercial diving industry in the mid 1970’s. I worked as a diver and diver medic laying pipelines primarily in the Gulf of Mexico. This gave me a strong background in the technical and safety end of things. Then in the mid 1980’s I left the oilfield and entered the world of hyperbaric medicine in a hospital setting. (The weather was much better.) I spent quite a bit of time learning about wound care and the benefits of the oxygen under pressure that the patients we served were receiving. I found that managing such programs seemed comfortable to me and ended up working in the contract management business starting in the early 1990’s. I worked for other people overseeing numerous wound care and hyperbaric medicine programs from Maine to Mexico. Then in 1999 I started Holmes Healthcare Incorporated. Since the beginning of Holmes Healthcare I have made it my mission to bring effective and ethical wound care to the patients we serve and the very best programs to the hospitals we have partnered with. I have, as well, tried to uphold the quality standards, of the industry we are in, that we set years ago.

I am proud of our past, as a company, and look forward to a bright future of continuing to do the same.
